- Barati organized and hosted the 12th International Symposium on Reservoir Wettability and its Effects on Oil Recovery at the Oread Hotel, Lawrence, KS on October 7-8 of 2015. Nearly 70 researchers attended the symposium, which has drawn visitors from as far away as China, Norway, France and Brazil.
- Nishkriya Kalyanaraman’ s poster presentation was selected as the second top poster in the KU’s Sigma Xi Graduate Research Competition, May 4, 2015.
