Kim received her  Bachelor’s in Geosciences from Kiel University in Germany. She is going to start the Ph.D. at the University of Kansas in fall 2019 working under the guidance of Dr. Barati.  She is currently working on the definition of brittleness for unconventional shale and tight carbonate reservoirs.
